Lewis's Info...

I am good with dogs and good with cats.

Lewis's Story...
I am a stunning piece of canine, don’t you think so? I have these big ears, these soulful eyes and a cute little tail that just wags and wags. I can be a little shy at first but I wouldn’t mind a home with kids, maybe over the age of 5 years to hang with and give me love. I do not mind sharing my home with other pets either. I am used to being a house dog and spending my days indoors, I did pretty well but I am still pup and am not quite 100% housebroken yet. Just a little training is all I’ll need. So come on in, we can go for a walk or just hang out in the visiting room and just get to know each other. I am a real catch and would love to go home and spend the rest of my life with you! 9 months old-9lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter rebate, 5 week Training Class, Free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area vet), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis, a Portland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
