Brownie is a 6-7 year old Chocolate Labrador that was going to be killed on 8-1 only because the shelter was over crowded. Brownie is heartworm positive but we have a very successful Slow Kill program that will help him recover. He is safe in foster care now and doing GREAT- happy even bouncy. He must have had a very rough life before he was dumped at the shelter as he has no teeth in the front of his mouth and his canines are worn down to nubs. We have nick named him "Toothless". It also looks like he was attached by another dog and his neglect also include to flea and tick protection as he came into the shelter with a terrible case of flea dermatitis.
