Juno's Story...
Juno is a beautiful 2 yr old shep/boxer mix. She recently had puppies and both she and the puppies became very ill. Juno had a rough time but now she is doing much better. She is a very healthy girl and she loves to play. She does well with other dogs but can shy away if they are very assertive with her. Juno is crate trained and is working on being housebroken. She would very much like a home of her own. It is unknown how she does with cats. It is believed Juno would be great with both kids and adults. However, she is very strong and may knock kids down when she starts to play. Juno is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccinations. She has been microchipped. If you are interested in Juno, please email her at juno@sparkyrescue.com or call 270-684-4787.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Owensboro Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Owensboro, or seeking a Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Owensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
