Marley's Story...
Marley was just another stray until the day his guardian angel picked him up off the mean streets! He's safe here for now until you fall in love with him and take him home with you. He's got the body of a doxie, long and low to the ground! But there's just a hint of the pom in his face and coat. This boy would make a great little pet because although he is terrified his tail never stops wagging!!! He wants you to be kind and loving and he's ready to love you back. He does still need some training but goes outside to potty. He cries a bit when left alone or with the other dogs but will stop after a firm "NO". Marley only weighs 7.4 pounds and is about 3 or 4 years old. I would like to see him go to a very calm home where he can get lots of attention (that doesn't mean he can't ever be left alone) but he really needs to be included as part of the family. We'll continue to work with him to get him leash trained and build his confidence. But just look at that sweet, trusting face, he's just a little doll. Marley's adoption fee is $300.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Santa Rosa Pomeranian/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Dachshund for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Pomeranian/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Dachshund breeders who help with Pomeranian/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
