My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samantha is a super sweet beagle who is looking for a loving home that will sit with her on the couch and provide plenty of belly rubs.

She is a good-natured, easy-going, friendly dog who enjoys people of all ages.

Samantha is well mannered. She knows sit, stay, and come, but could use some reinforcement of these commands. She is willing to work and is motivated by treats.

According to the dog trainer: "Samantha is a friendly dog in need of a stable, permanent home. Positive reinforcement training would be helpful in teaching Sam what you desire. Reward-based training will also build a bond between Sam and adopter. She knows several cues, but could learn more."

Samantha gets along with other dogs, but needs to be introduced properly. She can be a little timid when she first meets another dog.

She lived most of her life with one family, who gave her up for financial reasons. That family had three children under the age of five, as well as another dog.

Samantha is seven years old. She is microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
