Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found Lewis in Cullowhee, but we haven't been able to find his owner. He is a really sweet boy, about 2 years old, housetrained, great with other dogs, well behaved, very playful. He's 40 lbs but low to the ground. We don't yet know for sure about the cats, although he was rescued by Catman Jr, who said he did okay there. Lewis is a bit possessive of his food around other dogs, but other than that he could play with them forever. Amazingly cute, friendly guy.
Scroll to bottom for contact information or call ARF at (877) ARF-JCNC. For the $70 adoption fee, this animal has received rabies shot and heartworm test if old enough. It has also received puppy shot, worming, and spay/ neuter--and sometimes a considerable investment of services and treatments.
Because of this animal's uncertain history, we assume he or she is not housebroken unless we have stated otherwise. However, most dogs are trainable and eager to please. ARF will happily advise prospective owners about crate training and the latest housebreaking tools.
We set up at our adoption location on 50 Railroad Ave., Sylva, NC every Saturday from 1-3 PM (sometimes earlier or later if the weather is nice). You can also view animals by making an appointment with the foster parent. Get approximate directions from your location.
Visit our web site for more information on adoption AND our adoption application.
If you can't adopt right now, consider donating the adoption fee of this pet. ARF spends an average of $125 housing and caring for pets; some cost us much more.
