My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aspen is an absolutely gorgeous, loving girl! She is very friendly and adores people! She will cuddle up next to you and give tons of kisses! Aspen has a beautiful, creamy coat, weighs around 40 lbs and is about 2-3 years old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dog! She is a absolute joy to have around, and so is her brother, Tahoe! Tahoe and Aspen lived on the Indian Reservation. Their family didn't keep them safe inside, so the dogs were constantly wandering around. Tahoe injured his leg, and the family wouldn't take him to the vet, so they relinquished him to us. We were sick that Aspen had to stay out on the Reservation by herself, and were ecstatic to rescue her a few weeks later. When we first got him Tahoe had a very mild case of Valley Fever and his leg was badly infected. He still has a slight limp, but runs and plays just fine. He is now negative for Valley Fever. Aspen has Valley Fever, but has responded great to the medication and has plenty of energy. She will however need to stay on medication for another year. (Valley Fever is NOT contagious, so she cannot pass it on to other dogs or people.) They need to find a wonderful home together. Both are great with kids and other dogs! They are super smart and even though they had never been in a house before they were rescued, neither ever had any accidents and were crate-trained in just a couple of days. They are amazing, wonderful dogs! Tahoe isn't super fond of a leash, so he needs a little practice. Aspen will kiss you to death, so you better like an affectionate dog! Tahoe and Aspen are a beautiful pair! Any family would be lucky to have them! They are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on DAPP and rabies vaccinations. The adoption fee for both together is only $250 and will include 4 months of Valley Fever medication for Aspen.
