Libby Lane's Story...
Libby is 4 years old and weighs 6 pounds. She was left behind when her owners moved. she is a real sweetheart, and not a typical Chihuahua, in the fact that she likes all people.......... she does not bark or nip, she is very friendly. Libby has the cutest personality, when you come home she is so happy to see you that she purrs and rubs on your neck and face, like a cat! She is a talker, she makes the cutest little sounds.

Libby is kennel trained, because she is not completely potty trained. We are working on that. When she is left at home alone we kennel her to reinforce her potty training. But at night Libby loves to sleep in the bed with you. she is a burrower, she will go under the covers and cuddle up next to you to sleep.

Libby loves to go for car rides, and she is an excellent long trip girl. She is travel size and ready to go!

she does not share well and she really wants to be an only child. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, until you show them attention then Miss Libby gets very jealous, and not nice to them. she is so entertaining and would make a great addition to any family.

she is fully vetted and ready to leave the dog orphanage and have a forever family where she will not be left behind again!

Her adoption fee is $150.00 and please note: we do require a securely fenced yard, and please no children under 10 in the home.

She is fostered by Sherri. If you would like to meet Libby, she will be at out adoption outreach on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, at the Petsmart in Edmond. The store is located on Broadway. and we are there from 10:30 to 5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby Lane, a Edmond Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
