Kia Sereta's Story...
Kia Sereta is a beautiful girl. She came all the way from Oklahoma to the FOR program. She is likely a Collie/Shepherd mix and is a mature girl at about 9-10 years old. Kia Sereta loves to play and be loved on. She really loves people and enjoys attention from them. This sweet girl is housebroken and crate-trained. She sleeps soundly through the night and is so grateful to be in a home experiencing love and proper attention and care. It appears that before now, Kia Sereta had never gotten to play with toys - but now that she understands them - she LOVES them. She will throw a toy for herself, but loves to engage in play with humans too. A few other things Kia Sereta loves are the WATER and car rides! She is spayed, heartworm negative, current on all vaccines, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Kia Sereta is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She deserves to live out the remaining years of her life in a home filled with love and lots of good things!!! If you are interested in giving Kia Sereta that FORever home, please email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kia Sereta, a Marietta Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
