Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET PEPPER:
Did you ever wish you could have the perfect dog? Is your ideal dog a cute, spunky, loveable and well behaved Chihuahua? If so, Pepper could be your little dream come true! He is 26 months old, neutered, micro-chipped, and completely up to date with all of his shots. He has a lot of energy, is completely house trained, gets along well with other dogs and even stays off the furniture unless you invite him. What do you think? Are you Pepper material? Do you have time and affection worthy of this little dream? If so, please visit www.odr-inc.org and complete an adoption questionnaire.
Our Criteria (aka the Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue animals, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex animals in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a similar animal). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
What you get in return with your little rescue:
All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, no exceptions as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other animals that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
Can you give him a happy, carefree life again? If interested, please complete the adoption questionnaire at www.odr-inc.org and email it to: jrangan@comcast.net - the adoption committee will be in touch with you within 48 hours so please be patient as we are solely volunteer run.
