Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Rosana! Looking for a cuddly ball of feline fluff to fill your days with love and joy? Look no further than me! I love nothing more than curling up by a special person and purring away. Did you know that when my friends at MHS took my picture, I couldn't stop making cookies with my paws! I am a 'purr'fect mix of all things playful and cuddly. I'm very inquisitive- if there is something on a shelf or table, I have to check it out with her with my paws. My motor is usually quick to purr and I LOVE to rub against you to be pet or cuddled. Once my initial burst of energy has been satisfied, I like to kick back and "veg."
I know, you are probably seeing the 'special needs' note on my profile and wondering what exactly that entails, or how much of a commitment it will require. First off, my needs are that I am somewhat vision compromised- for whatever reason, my right eye suffered a rupture to the globe while I was left to fend for myself during my stray days. I did have surgery to remove that eye, but I think you'll find, i get along just as well as any other 2 eyed kitty. My foster mommy says it gives me an endearing quality, because I will cock my head when looking at her while she talks.
It is important to note that I did test positive for Calicivirus, a virus that does cause upper respiratory infection in cats. I do have chronic flair ups, which thusfar has been treated with a course of doxycycline. But because i will always be a carrier for this virus, and it is viral in nature, it's likely i could be contagious to other cats, meaning I would do best as an only cat in the home- which really stinks because I love other kitties! My foster mommy reminds me though that this just means I will be sure to be spoiled and the center of attention in my own home.Want to get to know me better? Right now, because I am in a foster home, you will need to fill out an application first and arrange a time for MHS and my foster mommy to bring me in to show me off. But I promise, it will be worth it! What do you have to lose? Get to know me today!!
