My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is a 4 yr. old Shih Tzu weighing in at only 8 lbs. She is a very sweet dog that likes other dogs and cats - except at dinnertime. She would much prefer to dine alone. Perhaps her petite size invited larger dogs to take advantage and steal her meals in her previous home and she just won't stand for it anymore! Peanut likes nothing more than to hop up on the couch and sit by your side while you're watching tv or reading a good book, but she is also quite independent, not overly affectionate, and doesn't mind spending time alone. She seems to like children, but because of her food possession issues she won't be adopted to a home with pre-teens. Peanut is being fostered in Union Bridge, Maryland and her asking adoption fee is $275. Peanut comes already microchipped.
