Sonya's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sonya's Story...
Sonya is a 5 month old female min pin/dachshund mix. She weighs 12 lbs and will be a small dog as an adult. She was found as a stray with her sister Miley who she could be adopted with. They get along great with each other, as well as other dogs, cats, and kids. She has already been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. She enjoys playing with Miley and loves to curl up in a lap for lots of loving. These sisters are sweet little girls that each would make a fun addition to any family. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonya, a Allentown Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
