Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wowie Howie!!! Yes, he's a BIG one...15 ½ lbs of real lover boy. He's on a diet and his adopter should plan to continue that. This handsome guy is so mellow, he's not even freaked out by the vacuum cleaner. Howie doesn't seem to mind other cats and didn't react to a small dog who was checking him out at an adoption event. Howie is front declawed so will signal with a nip if he doesn't like something (such as having his back rubbed just in front of his tail). This is why he might do best in a home without children unless they are already cat savvy and know to respect his wishes. This guy is 5 years young...very playful with toys and sometimes jumps out to surprise passersby.
As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Carol at cjdavis@everestkc.net to find out when and where you can meet HOWIE!
