My name is Shirley!

Domestic Mediumhair Kitten for adoption in Toledo, Ohio - Shirley

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shirley's Info...

I am a special needs pet and up to date with shots.

Shirley's Story...
My sister Laverne and I tested positive for Feline Leukemia for now...that is only a sign that our mother was exposed to the virus. It is very likely we will test negative in the future and have no other problems for the rest of our lives.

Thanks to this shelter, we were not euthanized. Please consider adopting one of us. We are extremely healthy, and show no signs of illness. Plus we may never become ill in the future.

We will keep you posted on the results of our next test. Please adopt me before that! I need a home sooner than later.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shirley, a Toledo Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
