Bentley wants to be your "Am-Basset-dor" to shelter dog rescue! If you're looking for a lap dog, Bentley will be happy to oblige by climbing into the nearest lap and snuggling right in! He's a loving guy who charms everyone he meets, and he loves to play in the nicest way! Bentley has the best of the bassett temperament - - friendly, outgoing and ready to be the official "greeter" in any household! He arrived at a high-kill shelter in Arkansas in horrible shape -- skinny, missing some hair and on death row simply because he was a black dog. With great vet care and more TLC than he ever thought possible, he's fattening up, his hair is clearing up and he's the perfect boy: great with kids, dogs, and so affectionate! We think Bentley is about 8 - 9 weeks old, he's healthy, and he'll follow you anywhere.
