Gypsy's Story...
Gypsy and her 5 pups were rescued from a lg city animal control facility where she was deemed agressive and protective of her pups. ARF scooped her and her family up and made them a comfortable section at our adoption center. Within 12 hrs the pups were no longer cowering to human contact and mom greets strangers with her tail waggin. Just changing her environment has allowed her true personality to shine through. Gypsy will be avail for adoption when her pups are 8 weeks old. She is up to date on shots and will be spayed asap. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. updated 10/18/07

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Chester Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Chester, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
