Henry's Story...
Hi I'm Henry, an adorable black and white Jack Russell. I am about 4-6 months old. My rescue mom found me mid to late October wandering the streets alone. I love affection and give plentiful free kisses. Chew toys and squeaky toys are great and keep me busy, I love to play tag and tug of war with the other dog in my foster family. But the cat is not so thrilling I bark at him but I am learning to accept the cat since he was here first. The kids are great they are 8 and older, although I sometimes can unintentionally be a little rough and jumpy. But I'm working on it. In the process of housebreaking and doing well. I've had some of my shots and have been wormed. I'd love a forever home with a fenced yard and another dog to play with. Contact my foster mom at lynneh43@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
