My story

Meet Tinker, a friendly 3-year-old Dachshund/Corgi mix. He is the sweetest dog and is so gentle. He is fantastic with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind cats. In fact, he seems to be good with everyone! He is housetrained and can use puppy pads. He rarely barks and is very well-behaved.

Unfortunately, we have learned through vet examinations that he has constricted airways which has shortened his lifespan to possibly just 3-4 more years. He cannot tolerate being in a home with smokers or other poor air quality. We just received this information and are working with a vet to determine the best course of treatment, which will be lifelong.

Tinker is 16 pounds and is not fearful or food aggressive. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is only $75 and allows us to help more animals.
