My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gizmo's owner surrendered him to a local shelter because she worked long days and Gizmo spent too much time alone/confined in a cage. He is now being fostered in a home with 3 other dogs and is doing really well. All Gizmo wants is to be loved. He will sit on the couch with you or lay in bed cuddled up to you. He will follow you around the house and just lay on the floor near you. He loves walks and could easily be a great apartment dog. He is 99% house-trained, and rarely has an accident.

Gizmo would do best in a quiet home, without children because he can get overly excited. He can be a little high strung, but his personality will mirror his environment. He loves squeaky toys and will carry it around with him and even try and take it with him on walks. Gizmo cannot be confined to a crate or even a small space. He is left out, free to roam in the house, while I am at work (8-10 hrs a day) and he does great. He is not destructive and generally spends the day sleeping in my bed.

Gizmo needs a patient, understanding owner who will spend time with him and shower him with affection, in return you will get lots of hugs and kisses

Gizmo is 5 years old, 27 lb., is up-to-date on all vaccines, is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative.
