My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello,
My name is Holly and I'm looking for my forever home... I am a 7 year old female Yorkshire Terrier. I am spayed, up to date on all my shots, have had my dew claws removed and my teeth cleaned. I am also micro chipped...I came from a backyard breeder and lived in a cage all my life, so I'm a little scared of the outside world. My foster mom says I'm doing great and becoming social but I still need time to adjust to this big old world (it can be pretty scary) I am very loving and love to sleep with my people, I will wake you up in the morning by placing my little paw on your cheek and taping it lightly. Once you open your eyes I will give you many kisses to say good morning. I am pee pad trained and will go potty outside as long as you let me out several times a day. I do have little accidents sometimes in the house but not very often. I just learned how to use the doggie door, it was pretty scary at first but now that I know it wont hurt me, I use it to come in and out when I want. I am a beautiful girl and all I want is a loving home of my own where I can be the princess I know I am, I just need time to adjust and to learn to trust you. I have been abused in my past so I'm very cautious with new people, but once I get to know you and I know that you wont hurt me, I will give you all my love. I need a "very patient" family who will give me time to adjust to my new home. I get along great with other dogs and cats and I like to play with toys. I will cuddle with you in bed or on the sofa as I love the attention. I get a little scared when I'm on the floor but with time and patience I will learn to trust you. I dont care for children under the age of 10 because they scare me.If you are interested in adopting me please get a hold of Yorkie Rescue of America and ask about me.
