Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey was rescued from being chased by a pack of dogs in an area of Houston known as being an animal dumping location. Whew! That was a close one!
One smart puppy! – Petey is learning house and crate training, and doing a great job! He is used to a collar and leash. He got the hang of using his crate and the dog door in no time at all!
The skinny – Petey likes just about everything and everybody, except for loud noises and thunderstorms—scary! He is grateful for any attention and working to boost his self-esteem.
Eager! – Petey wants to please you and kiss you! He will squeal and nudge you for attention in the sweetest way.
Petey has overcome a major obstacle by surviving. His love of people and desire to bond with humans will enable Petey to be a wonderful companion dog. His intelligence will allow him to quickly learn what pleases you. Petey is young, and ready to spend the rest of his life with someone just like you!
