Sophia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Sophia's Story...
Sophia is a 2 year old purebred black lab, about 80 pounds. She's a happy and friendly girl. Her owner brought her to our vet to be put down because she liked to leave the farm to go visit people and he was afraid she'd be hit by a car! The vet called and of course we said we'd take her in. Sophia needs a family who will include her in their life so she doesn't need to go off in search of friendship. We will provide updates as we get to know here better.

Sophia is a very sweet well mannered girl that gets along with all the dogs big and small at the shelter. She is very freindly and she is housetrained. All her vac. are done and she is spayed and neg. for heartworm.

Adoption fee:$275.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophia, a Mora Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mora, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mora paves the way for another one to be saved.
