Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Bootsie
DOB: ~ 2/1/12
Breed/Color: DSH/Snowshoe
Temperament: Talkative, Sweet
Good with Cats: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Other: When Bootsie was a kitten she was dumped on a rural property to fend for herself. While still very young, she wound up pregnant. Shortly after giving birth to four beautiful kittens, the resident dogs on the property decided they didn't want Bootsie around and tried to chase her off. Thankfully the owners cared about her safety and reached out for help. Now that Bootsie's child-rearing days are over, she's looking for the purrfect home! Bootsie would be a great addition to a home with other pets.
She is good with dogs and other cats. She likes to follow the big dogs around her foster home and often giving them an affectionate rub. Initially Bootsie is on the shy side, but once she warms up, she's right by your side. Because of her shyness, Bootsie is looking for a home without young children. She's a chatty girl and instead of cuddling, would prefer to have interesting and intelligent conversations with you. In her free time, she likes to use her cardboard or sisal scratcher and is always gentle with her claws. She also like to spend her time with a potent cat nip toy or bird watching from the window. And as if it couldn't get better, Bootsie is cooperative with grooming and loves to be brushed. Looking for a cat with a sweet temperament who is well behaved and low maintenance? Bootsie is the feline friend for you!
Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Bootsie's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
