Nika's Story...
Nika is a black and white registered Pomeranian. She is senior girl whose birthday is January 28th, 2002, and she came to the SCHS with her partner, Teddy Bear. Nika and Teddy Bear came to us because of an unexpected circumstance in their home. They have been together all of their lives, so we would like to keep them together. Nika is a petite girl, weighing only 7 pounds, but her heart has a huge capacity for giving love! She gets along fine with the other senior dogs in the foster home, as well as cats. Nika is a very sweet girl who loves being with her humans. She is very energetic, likes to go on walks, as well as snuggling up at the end of the day. Nika and Teddy Bear are looking for a home to spend their senior years in comfort and surrounded by love! Nika is completely house trained, crate trained, vet checked, spayed, tested negative for heartworm, up-to-date on her shots, and dewormed. Nika is also microchipped. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Nika and ask about her special adoption fee! C&AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nika, a Owatonna Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
