Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgia has had an amazing recovery! This little one year old, 16 lb Chihuahua mix was hit by a car in Atlanta, Georgia and our foster dad saw it happen! He brought her to a vet and found out she had a broken pelvis and her hips were out of the joint sockets. With much medical care Georgia can now run on both her hind legs, and she's growing stronger. The surgeon has given her the go-ahead for adoption, so she will now be looking for her forever home. Whoever chooses to make Georgia a part of their family, will be blessed with this most loving little girl. She still has a few months to complete healing of the pelvic bones, so she requires exercise and care. Georgia loves walks, loves to play and please, is so smart and willing to learn. She’s super friendly to people and other animals, and loves to cuddle. Being a puppy, Georgia would be good with kids, older ones though, since her pelvis and hip will never be normal. She would be devoted to adults, as well, who can spend time with her. She likes to play with other dogs and it will be safest with ones her own size or smaller. Like so many rescue dogs, Georgia seems so grateful for a home and a second chance at life, literally. Her unabashed enthusiasm when she greets her foster parents is heartwarming and the love she gives is heart melting. She is a petite 16 pounds full of fun and love! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
