Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breck, that’s me, I look like a miniature blue heeler with big ears and with an energizer bunny hidden inside. I am 5 months old by now (they think) sweet female. Don’t get me wrong, after a busy day running through the yard, finding turtles, following scents, gnawing on chew toys unless you leave more tasteful shoes out - I love nothing more than to lay right next to you and sleep all night without moving. You will not even know that I am there if you fall asleep before I do and you think I will stay on my dog bed. I might be the smallest one in the pack at my foster home, but that is my advantage too, I can run through all their legs and be the first one in line when it comes to treats and attention. Everyone there and their visitors’ think I am the cutes thing ever and they all say they should keep me. It will be hard for them to let me go, but the world is big and I want to see a lot more of it. If you show me the world, we play in the yard, go to the lake, to the dog park, take me to the pet store or to on a quiet walk in the woods, I promise I will love you forever – yes, your other family members too ;-) I like people. When it comes to listening I remind them of their late Rat Terrier, which they say I am mixed with. If I am after a chicken I am in my world and don’t listen too well anymore, so they have to come and get me. Maybe with a good treat and some training , but I understand that when I slip out of the gate none is carrying hotdogs. I learned to sit for a treat, that is when I am the only dog around, in less than a minute - you just wait for my good behavior and treat me right then. Dog door? Piece of cake ;-) I am a smart little cookie, forgot? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
