My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This joyful and endearing little puppy will make an exceptional addition to any family. At just 17 weeks old she is already learning her basic commands and how to be a respected, confident family member. She has an adorable smile, is great with everyone and everything and is fun and totally loveable.

An adorable small dog with the personality of a big clown, the Cockapoo is the first of the "designer dogs" dating back to the 1960s rather than to just a few years ago. Completely people-oriented, the Cockapoo is intelligent enough to train easily, hardly sheds, forgives quickly, and is so affectionate that you'll never feel alone. You might even have to shut the bathroom door for a minute of privacy. He's happy running around an agility course, showing off his tricks to company, being petted as a therapy dog, or just hanging out on your lap. Your lap is his, by the way.

The above paragraph pretty much sums up our little Rosebud. She is a total delight! When she first came to our home she was a bit shy (for about 5 minutes) but soon got into the swing of things and is having a great time playing with the other dogs, enjoying the backyard and making friends with our big cat (who thinks he is a dog). Rosebud is friendly with everyone and accepts new people instantly into her life. She will be a great size in that she is small enough to cuddle with but large enough to go for a good romp. She is such a happy and dear soul that she just makes you feel good and you can't help but smile whenever you are with her.

Rosebud is very beautiful inside and out. She will be your constant companion and loves to be wherever you are doing whatever you are doing. She is not an attention hound and can easily amuse herself however she likes to be in the same room that you are in. She loves to play with toys and is enjoying a lot of games with our puppy who has become her best friend.

This pup will do exceptionally well as long as she is treated like a dog. I think it would be easy to spoil her as she is just so cute and loveable but she is very eager to please and it is obvious her previous family loved her and were raising her to be a great companion.

Rosebud sleeps in her crate at night and throughout the day when I am unable to keep a close eye on her (just to protect her from getting into anything she shouldn't). She has not had one accident in the home but of course she is let out often. She does have one funny quirk which is that she will chase the broom, mop, etc. and thinks it is a game every time I try to clean the house.

This little imp will not be here for long I am sure and whoever adopts her I am positive will never have to second guess their decision. She appears to be non-shedding or will shed very little. She will be an ideal playmate for children that would enjoy her antics (probably best with children that can handle puppy behaviour and not really little ones). Rosebud is just going to be a wonderful all around family pet. She is just a joy to foster.
