This is Sadie and Ralph, they have a long sad story, share it and help them find a forever home!
July 5, 2013 my husband and I were on our way home from our friends wedding in Richlands. My husband saw a small dog in the middle of the road being the animal lovers we are we stopped to save him and try to find his home. Before my husband could load him in the car out came another dog from the corn field. So we took them both (this is about 12 at night) we went to the houses with lights on and asked if anyone has lost these dogs. They seemed to be pretty well taken care of just had some dry skin and no collars. A woman told us they had been running around for a few days and didn't belong to anyone around there. So we took them home. Posted lost and found ads and no one responded. We were lucky enough to be referred to OCPAW out of Sneads Ferry and met this wonderful lady named Dottie who was able to help us financially with the vet bills for the pups. Turns out they weren't pups! Ralph is 3 and Sadie is 1 1/2!!! Both were brought up to date on their shots, Ralph was treated for his sensitive skin and his bladder issue. After weeks of antibiotics he was as good as new. Sadie well she was always good just your topical puppy!! We enjoyed playing with then and introducing them to our two dogs Cali and Rylee and our cat Roxy. They all got along very well. Only down fall was we couldn't have 4 dogs. So we set out on a search for their forever home. We thought we had found the perfect family for them (long story short) we didn't. After taking Sadie and Ralph back they were completely infested with fleas large fleas. We are completely devastated! We have treated these babies like they were our own and to find out someone has allowed this to happen to them in 2 weeks!! It's insane!!! So again after spending hours cleaning and bathing them- giving oatmeal baths and anti itch meds to Ralph. Tomorrow morning they will receive their flea meds.
We are looking for a forever home for them and will take great care in selecting the next family as we do not want to cause them any more pain in their young lives. I have come to the conclusion that people can act like great people but be completely different behind closed doors. We want the best family for them!!! They need to go together so please do not ask to separate them. We have tried and they get very upset. Here are some fun facts - they love other dogs

Sadie is hyper and a happy puppy
Ralph is very chill and very protective!!
