Kylie is a 6 year old Papillon/Pomeranian mix and weighs 20 lbs. She absolutely adores attention and soaks up cuddles any chance she gets. She gets along well with people. She also gets along well with other dogs, enjoying regular trips to the dog park and playing with her foster home mate Maggie (a Shih Poo).
Kylie is in great shape and has no issues keeping up on her daily walks and dog park trips. She is quite obedient, knows all basic commands and listens well. She is not a big barker aside from alerting the humans in the house of new visitors at the door. She is generally pretty quiet and calm but always wakes with excitement in the morning. She travels very well in the car with no anxiety. This little girl just lives to be loved and is so appreciative of the attention you give her.
Though she gets along well with all ages, Kylie would be best suited for a quieter home without too much hustle and bustle. She would be be ideal for a home with older children, a couple or someone living on their own.
*Extra care will need to be taken when transitioning Kylie over to her new home. Although she is very friendly, it will take Kylie time to settle in and it will be essential that she is given a predictable schedule/is kept in a quiet environment with boundaries for the first few weeks. Kylie is used to sleeping in her crate and will seek it out during the day if she is feeling anxious or uneasy. It is her 'safe' spot and she should have access to it at all times.
