My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winston is a male Shiba Inu that came into the Coronado Animal Care Facility when his elderly owner passed away and her immediate family could not continue to care for him.

Winston is a bit unsure of how he landed here and is getting used to his new surroundings after losing his human companion and home.

As he becomes comfortable with new people, his true personality is emerging and it is one that is fun and silly. This fellow is a true comic that loves to entertain.

Winston is very easy going and would probably work with most households. He is even known to steal a few kisses when the opportunity presents itself.

He would like to have a new family that can help him slim down and incorporate some much needed exercise into his daily routine. He is energetic and willing and totally ready for his new family. Won’t you consider giving him a chance at a new life?

You can meet Winston any day at the Coronado Animal Care Facility between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Winston, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.
