My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Y'all -- I'm Jessa from South Carolina, named for the state flower Jessamine.

I'm a precious girl and pretty, too! All the shelter staff loved me and searched hard for safe haven when it became crowded and dangerous for me there. But New Mexico? Who knew?!

All shelter dogs dream of a second chance! We wag and woof for each other when one of us leaves. I did for many and many did for me! A lot of kind people helped and encouraged me, too, as I made the long journey.

I've gained healthy weight since I arrived, but I'm still slim as a lizard -- and agile and tricky and fast. When we wrestle, the Husky girls are always surprised when I wriggle and leap from their clutches!

I get along great with all the other dogs and I adore people! A cheerful, active family with a friendly dog would be a perfect match for me. Could that be you?

I'm spayed, vaccinated, and my heart worm test is negative. I'm house trained, too, and my adoption fee is $125.00.
