My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Mooch, a 12-year-old male umbrella cockatoo who has been well tended and loved his whole life. Unfortunately, his dad passed away unexpectedly and found his way to FPR through a referral from a network veterinarian who routinely examined him and boarded him. Mooch is a charmer, a cuddler and a clown. He prefers men, but women serve as suitable substitute attention givers. He will tell you he is a "good boy" and when excited will say, "Smoochie Moochie". He also likes to whistle and will use that to contact call instead of screaming. While Mooch is a great bird and will be, someone's loving companion his ideal home will be with someone who is already familiar with cockatoos. So if you are looking for a lively, fun and loving companion and know a cockatoo is right for you, then Mooch would be an excellent choice.
Adoption Fee $400 or $650 with cage
