RINGO's Story...
UPDATED BIO 08/12/2013: Ringo is 5 ½ years old and weighs approximately 15 lbs. He is a PapiPoo! That is a Papillon/Poodle mix – we are told that Ringo’s dad was a purebred Apricot Poodle and his mom was a Papillon; he is being fostered in New Port Richey, FL.

Ringo here, I have learned so much since I came to stay with my Foster Mom and Dad. I can now go up and down the stairs, I don’t sit on the back of the couch anymore 'cause I know who the pack leader is, and it isn’t me! My 3 lb Sergeant fursister tells me what to do! Now all I have to do is sit on my FM's lap and get my lovin' and give my kisses. I go out with my FD for long walks and love to run fast with him - so if you're into running or jogging, I'm the boy for you! FM says my only problem is...... I am soooo soft and adorable and she just can’t hug me enough. She says someone is going to be lucky to get me.

Oh, did I tell you that I'm totally house-trained and really like to be with my person. I think you call that a velcro dog, I don't know what that means, but I don't like to be left behind 'cause it makes me sad.

PLEASE NOTE: Ringo would do best in a calm, quiet home with no children ~ activity make him a bit anxious. For this reason, his perfect home would be one with at least one stay-at-home parent, and an active lifestyle. If you want a loyal companion and a whole lotta love, then Ringo is your guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RINGO, a Tampa Papillon/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Papillon/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Papillon/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
