My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edwin is a very sweet, gentle, quiet boy who is quite small for a lab, at around only 40 lbs. His age is unknown but he seems to be young, perhaps around 2 years old. He has settled very well into his foster home and gets along incredibly with his foster brothers; moreover, he participates in daily pack walks with a dog walker, who reports that he is wonderfully social with all other dogs in the pack. He is a low to moderate energy dog. He is fully house-trained and has never had an accident in the house; he is trusted to be alone in the house and is not crated when his foster family is out. He is quickly learning his commands, such as sit and stay. Edwin has great recall and he walks very nicely on leash. He becomes a little nervous on busy streets, but he seems to be building confidence. He is very affectionate and follows his foster mom around the house as she does chores. He enjoys wrestling with one of his foster brothers and playing with his ball. Edwin has a limp in his back left leg that was caused by an old healed fracture of his left hip which has caused slight shortening of his back left leg; this limp does not cause him pain or affect his ability to function. Edwin is a wonderful, sweet dog who any home would be lucky to have!
