Thunder's Story...
Who’s a good boy? Who’s a good boy?!? I’m a good boy! Yes I am!!

Thunder is a goofy, happy-go-lucky fellow who has not quite reached his first birthday. This Black Lab-German Shepherd mix is so playful that he can happily keep himself busy for a long time, focused on the age-old problem of trying to get a second tennis ball in his mouth without losing the first one.

We saved this youngster from euthanasia at animal control. He’s looking for an owner who will run and play and help him burn off his endless energy. Then after a long workout, he’ll want a snuggle in front of the TV and a bit of a snooze. This dog is the perfect addition to an active household!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thunder, a Gilbert Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
