My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokin Joe is a 1 ½ year old Shih Tzu who weighs approximately 8 pounds. He was surrendered by his owner to a kill shelter with two of his brothers. Smokin had spent the beginning of his life in a cage and never socialized. He was very timid when approached and would rather run than be touched. His foster family had all the time that Smokin needed to come out of his shell. Smokin now likes to greet everyone with a paddy-cake or two while jumping on his back legs followed by a dance and turn. You can’t help but fall in love with this little guy when you meet him in person. Smokin has sorrowful eyes that can break your heart. He had a “ruff” first year of life, but it’s definitely getting better! Now it’s time for Smokin to find his fur-ever family who enjoys dancing around and enjoying life to its fullest.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm and flea prevention, microchipped and heartworm negative.
