Yellow Cab's Story...
Well hello there! My name is YellowCab, what’s yours? “How did you get the name YellowCab, you ask?” I really don’t know the answer to that one. Maybe I was born under a yellow cab, maybe I grew up near a yellow cab, maybe I just like to watch yellow cabs drive by. Who knows?? All you need to know is that I am a great guy who is looking for the home and family that is the right fit for me. Maybe you can hop in a yellow cab and come meet me today!

I came to MaxFund after my person had to go to a retirement home and I couldn't go with them. That makes me sad. I had a rough start at MaxFund, but now I am thinking positive thoughts and I'm waiting for my new person to come find me. I'm a sweet boy and I love attention. I like being brushed, as it keeps my beautiful orange fur shiny and healthy. I also like to play and will chase a laser light around all day if you let me. I am fine around most other cats and I mostly avoid dogs. I am declawed, which some people might think is a bonus.

Please consider inviting me to join your family. I have lots of potential and a whole lot of love to give. I just need someone with a big heart to give me the chance I deserve. I’ll be waiting in the window here for the day when a yellow cab pulls up, with you inside!

DOB: 06/2008

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yellow Cab, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
