Greta's Story...
Born Oct. 2006, Greta is about 30 pounds. She's housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, and has completed basic puppy obedience training class. She knows sit, heel, off, wait, and other commands. Highly affectionate, Greta loves being petted and resting her head on your knee. She's a fine choice for school age children and adults. The more you dote on her, the more delighted she becomes. Greta is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and takes heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a Chapel Hill Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
