Pluto's Story...
Pluto (02-092) was turned in to BHRG by a couple of young guys who realized they'd gotten way over their heads with puppyhood. Pluto is just 9 weeks old and is tri-colored although mostly black & white. He and his brother, Scooby (02-091), were purchased from a backyard breeder at the tender age of 6 weeks - way to young to be away from mommy. Both pups are recovering from dehydration and diarrhea and have been dewormed. Pluto has been a bit lethargic and was rejecting food and water. After a couple of long nights, Pluto did accept some rice. He will not receive his first set of puppy vaccinations until he's feeling better. Pluto will be available for adoption once he's healthy.
