My story

AnnaLee is a super sweet young girl that has a ton of love to give. She was extremely shy when she first came here but has gained so much confidence that she will even jump up in my lap and give kisses! She seems to be better around women than men, so we are saddened to think that perhaps she was not treated well by some man in her past. She may still be shy on an initial meeting but with patience she will definitely become a terrific companion. And she is so very beautiful! AnnaLee loves other dogs and gets along wonderfully with all shapes and sizes. She is fantastic with our cats too. She walks well on leash and is crate-trained and housebroken. AnnaLee would probably do best in a home that is relatively low-key and not a “Grand Central Station”. She really is a sweetheart and we hope you will come meet her at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville to see if she would be a good fit for you and your family. AnnaLee has been spayed and microchipped and she is up to date on all of her shots. She has tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is 15 months old and weighs 28 lbs.
