"Mocha"'s Story...
"Mocha" is a 1-2 year old "Coco Chocolate" Schnauzer terrier mix. Mocha weighs approx. 9 pounds and is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped has a current health certificate and heart worm test negative. Mocha was saved from a high kill shelter in CA. Luckily for Mocha that is all behind her now and she is on her way to a new loving life. Mocha has energy and loves to play she is a fun little girl. Mocha also loves to to cuddle and be a lap dog. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash and likes other dogs and kid. Mocha will make a excellent companion or family pet. We encourage continued positive training which helps with establishing boundaries and family bonding. All of our dogs are death row dogs meaning they were going straight to the euthanasia room. We never know the history of the dogs. Mocha is sweet, loving, and has flourished she is a very beautiful dog. This is due to over breeding, puppy mills and lack of funds to help the problem. We feel all dogs deserve a chance at life no matter where they live so we do are best to help them.6 Dogrees Rescue try's hard to help these innocent souls get to safety and into adoptive loving forever homes in WA State. All of our fees are built into the cost to save the dog and they are not negotiable. Fee's are in place to vet the dogs, medical and grooming expenses, and pay for boarding and transport to WA State. We use all adoption fees on vetting and toward saving another dog. We do not profit. All of our dogs are fully vetted and re-checked on arrival. covers Spay/Neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, Deworming, Advantage Flea Treated, Heart worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and transport cost from California to Seattle. This adoption fee will also go towards helping many of our rescued dogs who are in desperate need of surgeries, dental and teeth extractions, hernias, cherry eye removals, medications and boarding fees. 6 dogrees Rescue is a small "Grassroots" rescue focusing on helping the "urgent" euthanasia listed dogs assessed as adoptable. We do not know the background history of the dogs just that they were going to die with in 12 hrs. Donations are always appreciated to help us pay down our vet bills. candidates that we feel are the best "forever" homes for our dogs will be contacted. Pet Insurance is recommended for all dogs that are adopted from our rescue.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue.
