Grizzly's Story...
Grizzly is a cuddly twelve week old kitten who loves playing with his three siblings (Diva, Boo, and Casper). He would like to be adopted into a home with another young cat or with another kitten.

Grizzly was abandoned at the city pound as a newborn baby without a mom. Unable to survive on their own, they were lucky enough to find a foster home where they could be bottle fed. Because of that, they have learned to be very close to humans.

The adoption fee of $125 per kitten or $200 as a pair includes spay/ neuter, virus-testing, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Please email if interested in adopting Boo or for more information!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grizzly, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
