My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 3 Dogs: Some Kids: Older Cats: Unknown
Mimi may look solid as a rock and she is. . She came from way out in the San Jacinto area where she was a favorite of the shelter staff that cared for her. She was housed with other dogs and adopted by a person who did not have a back yard. Leash walks would have been wonderful exercise but they insisted on going to dog parks and as expected there is too much excitement for a newly adopted dog. One has to go slow at first and too much too soon caused Mimi to be in need of another home again. The stress of a kennel life is not helping little Mimi. She needs an experience understanding owner to appreciate her sweet side and big heart..
Mimi is now a BRLA Mentor Dog of Focus. This training is the most successful ever at BRLA and Mimi is doing great with the extra attention and confidence building.

Please visit our main website at www.boxer-rescue-la.com for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.
