Ninji's Story...
Ninji is an 9 month old rescue black kitten found dumped at a gas station. While he is small and sleek, don't underestimate his stature!

Initially shy and childlike, crying to nestle in your lap, soon Ninji emerged from his shell and demonstrated his agility, athleticism and acrobatics. This combined with his endless energy, sleek body and satin sheen earned him the name Ninji.

He loves to run around and climb anything but still follows you from room to room and lays nearby to keep you company. Oh and he knows the kitchen is a food paradise and will awaken from a deep nap to not miss a possible snack or meal.

Ninji would do well with a young, active kittens but not so much older cats. He respects dogs as long as they respect him.

And he's a talker! Ninji makes different sounds when he's playing, prowling, and celebrating meal time. There's the chirp, the mew (yes mew not meow), and the howl. You'll learn cat language before you know it!

For anyone who adopts Ninji, you will receive a "Welcome Kitty Gift Basket" including a pet carrier, food bowl, toys, the delightful book The Chronicles of Zee & Zoey autographed by cat author Deb Barnes, and a bottle of Coppola Wine. Christopher Coppola and his black cat Otto are the famous guardian/cat duo and were celebrity guests at the Black Cat Gala in Miami. Christopher and Otto have generously donated the bottle of wine for anyone who adopts a black cat from Riverfront Cats!.This Adoption Gift Basket is valued at $100. The adoption fee including the basket is $85 and without the basket is $55.

He is up to date with all his shots and is neutered. You will receive copies of all medical documents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ninji, a Miami Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Miami, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
