Cheyenne's Story...
Cheyenne is a 3 month old spayed female schnauzer mix. Her mom is Smilee who came to her foster dad as a pregnant stray and now the entire family is looking for new homes. Cheyenne is the tallest of the puppies, but only weighs about 8 pounds currently. We expect her to be about 15 pounds as an adult. She is very sweet. Her siblings are Butch, PeeWee, Rascal, and Tiny. Cheyenne is current on her vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheyenne, a Allentown Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
