PeeWee's Story...
PeeWee is a 3 month old neutered male schnauzer mix. His mom is Smilee who came to her foster dad as a pregnant stray and now the entire family is looking for new homes. PeeWee is the smallest male of the puppies at about 6 pounds currently. We expect him to be 15 pounds or less as an adult. He is very feisty and active. His siblings are Cheyenne, Rascal, Butch, and Tiny. Rascal is current on his vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. (AE)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PeeWee, a Washington Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Washington, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
