Opal's Story...
Opal and 3 other kittens were living with a colony of 6 cats. The cats were living in the woods behind a auto parts store and restaurant on a very busy road. The guys at the auto parts store were feeding all the cats. Opal was very afraid of people in the beginning. With a lot of love and patience she is becoming such a sweet and playful little girl. She loves to wrestle with her siblings, play with small balls and toy rats but her favorite is a feather attached to the end of a string. Opal loves back and tummy rubs she lets you know with a sweet little purr. She is shy and somewhat nervous at first and in need of a loving home where she will get a lot of love and attention. Her approximate birth date is 05/01/13

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opal, a Winston-Salem Siamese kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Siamese kitten from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
