found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am good with dogs.
Charlie is a cute, fun loving dog who will do well in a household with lots of room to run. He LOVES to play with other dogs and to chase and be chased. He also loves to be held (draped over the forearm) and rocked. Very sweet!
After Charlie has had a chance to run and play, he likes to snuggle with his playmates (Olive and Moose) and take a rejuvenating puppy nap! Charlie loves his foster beagle buddy who is a much older pooch but is equally fond of his buddy the wire hair terrier who can run like the wind. He will do well with a little training but is certain to be a big hit with older pooches, energetic dogs or other puppies.
If this sweetie sounds like a good match for you please fill out an application today!
****His adoption fee is $325.****
The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues—and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed.
All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws.
Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $25 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.
The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan
