Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Copper- an irresistibly cute, 8 month old, Dachshund/Chihuahua mix puppy. This sweet little guy weighs 16 lbs and is always smiling. Poor Copper was found wandering the streets searching for food. The entire time he was on his own he was always spotted wagging his tail and keeping busy. He wasn't going to let anything get him down. Once taken into the pound, he was never claimed and his days were numbered. Thankfully one of our southern volunteers brought him into our rescue where he is safe. Copper is very smart and very energetic. He would be a great dog to do agility training with or just have fun teaching him tricks. If he can put a smile on your face, he's happy! The perfect household for Copper would be one that would have the time and energy to devote to a puppy. Copper is an open book - so proper training and guidance is critical to help him become the amazing lifelong companion he was meant to be. If you think you have what it takes to make Copper's dream come true and give him a forever home, contact Ellen at doubledogellen@att.net right away to request an application. Copper is currently in MS and will be making his way to CT on 9/7. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.
